First Time at MAHESO Report. August 2003. I want to share an experience that I had last week. I made my first visit to a resort. I was in Washington D.C. for a series of meetings and needed a place to stay. With my wife's (supportive non-participant) consent and blessing, I stayed at the Maryland Health Society (MAHESO) resort. I stayed there Wednesday evening in a little rustic cabin and left early Thursday morning. It was my first formal experience in social nudity. It was amazing. When I arrived, it was approximately 5:00 p.m. and in accordance with the request that I had made. I was met by a young man in his mid-twenties who was totally nude. I just kept thinking to myself, look at him in the eyes. I successfully did so and managed to keep my semblance of normalcy in an alien environment... (click link to see the rest of the report.)

Maryland Health Society Report. Response to report on Maryland Health Society by "E & A". September 2002. Things have changed a great deal since the report currently on-line. (Note from Jan: Report has been removed as it was written in 2000 and things change.) The club is now a co-op with a new 5 member board to be elected this October. To be fair the "tennis court" mentioned in the article was really a volley ball court. My family and I became members in 1999 and found everyone to be extremely friendly. We still are not a "large" club but we do have children in our membership that range in ages between 2 years and 15 years and not one of them has had any problem with poison ivy or poison sumac. Perhaps the author of the article should give the Maryland Health Society another try. Thanks Karen for the report!

Pine Tree Associates Report. This club was easy to find. Directions provided us by the club were right on the money. We were greeted by a friendly and extremely knowledgeable host. The locals were the same. Anywhere we wanted to go somebody had directions and pointed out some great area restaurants too. This club has it all.
