If you have a trip report, please send it through the Contact NetNude link which is on the front page of NetNude. A lot of people travel to different nudist places and like to read reports on these places and your experiences there. It does not have to be a long report. Thanks!!

Note: The reports go on this page in the order that they are received.

Please... send... trip... reports even if it is only one paragraph.
You could include (for example): description of facilities and whether you enjoyed the place and the people.

If you have a different opinion/view then those expressed in this report, submit it and I would be happy to present your views also. All reports can be found in the appropriate TRIP REPORT section when they leave this page and when I get around to putting them there ... which may take a few weeks :-)

Trip Report to Israel.

June 2008

Israel still has a lovely nude beach on the Dead Sea, but it has changed slightly.

The last time I was here the nude beach was at Kalya. Now it is at Midbar, 1 km south.

New directions: take the 1 from Jerusalem, and, when you get to the Dead Sea turn south (right). You will soon see a bunch of flags and a sign to the New Kalya Beach. Take the road to Kalya (a left turn off the highway). The road quickly turns south (a right turn) and then you will see a sign for a left turn to Kalya. Keep going, and the road will end up at two beaches. Midbar is the southernmost beach. it is labeled 'Tourist Beach' and Midbar (desert in Hebrew).

You pay (30NIS during the week, 35 NIS during the week. Due to the terrible dollar 1 dollar is 3.2 NIS. It was always over 4) and walk south, past the textile area, past the first sign that says 'No swimming here' and you finally get to the nude beach.

It has chairs, a few umbrellas, a garbage bin, and a freshwater shower. Floating in the Dead Sea is fun - the water feels almost oily from the salt, and you float.

Caution: don't shave the day you intend to go - the water stings even the smallest cut. A tradition is to cover yourself with Dead Sea mud and let it dry, then wash it off. The myth is that it is good for your skin. It certainly feels good.

Please send all trip reports and inquiries through the Contact NetNude link which is on the front page of NetNude. Thank you.
